Here’s a round up of what we’re reading over at The Empowerment Center this week! What’s caught your imagination this week?
“I’ve learned that trying to be like someone else, because of a perceived advantage, doesn’t work in any part of life, least of all in business. There is no room for imposters in any part of a successful enterprise.”
“A basic principle concerning how you should deal with an unknown future is that every small smart step you take should leave you alive to take the next step. But even this doesn’t mean you can’t work on your passion a little — even if it’s just for 15 minutes a day.”
What’s your passion and how do you do it daily?
Cindy posted this article on the PEC Linked In Group about the “Five Lessons from World Changers”. What’s your purpose?
“Multi-tasking does two things – 1. increases the time a task takes by 25% and 2. because you’re always busy, it drains your energy reservoir.”
This is a great list of things we say to ourselves that sabatoge our efforts to use our time effectively. I’m very guilty of #4, #9, and especially #11!
What has caught your attention and inspired you this week?
